Company Terms & Order Policy

To place phone orders, call (518) 283-0958 or call our toll free order line at (800) 344-4896 in the lower 48 states between 8:30am - 5pm Monday to Friday eastern time zone. You may also fax your order to (518)283-0959.

Com-Tech Electronics accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Credit cards are accepted only for orders to be billed and shipped within the United States. Credit card name should match the order name. The order must be shipped to card holders address. No second party Credit card transactions.

You may also order by mail. We accept business / company or personal checks, bank/postal money orders, and cashiers / tellers checks. Orders received with business / company or personal checks will be held 4 weeks for bank clearance of the check. 

COD orders are available only within the 48 contiguous continental US states. There is an additional $10.00 COD charge per package for COD orders. Minimum merchandise total for COD is $100 per package. Payment for COD’s will be made payable to Com-Tech Electronics,  by cashiers check or money order ONLY. COD shipments are made to businesses at commercial addresses listed in the phone directory only. No COD's to residential addresses. No COD's by Next Day Air Service.

Most orders are shipped within 24 - 48 hours. All merchandise is new, in factory sealed cartons (unless programmed to your specs). Out of stock items will be backordered, you will be notified of approximate availability / delivery date.  No shipments outside the USA.

 Prices, specifications and terms subject to change without prior notice. We are not responsible for any typographical errors. All shipments are F.O.B. Com-Tech Electronics. warehouse in Rensselaer, NY. Call (518) 283-0958 immediately to report damage or shortage. All claims and adjustments must be made within 7 days of invoice. No returns accepted after 7 days. Refunds on items only; shipping / handling charges and other surcharges are non-refundable. All merchandise carries full manufacturer's warranty. Only bid proposals and purchase orders from U.S. government, federal, and local agencies are accepted with net 30 days terms upon approval. Add New York State sales tax to total of order, including shipping and handling charge, on shipments made within New York State.

SOFTWARE SALES POLICY:

Com-Tech Electronics reserves the right to determine to who and  where to sell radio programming software. The purchaser must be a public safety official, bonafied business of substantial size with qualified radio custodian or a licensed amateur radio operator verified by FCC data base. Personal sale of software will be determined on a case by case basis by management.
